In a bid to protect the environment, the country’s ruler, King Abdullah II and his son, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah went diving to help clean up the sea. A video was released by local media outlets showing the royal father and son joining divers who set to work cleaning the Aqaba seabed. The divers collected cans, bottles, bags and tangled wires that were attached to the sea’s underwater organisms. His majesty enjoyed first-hand encounter with marine life as he is seen detangling wires off of an animal.
Queen Rania Of Jordan took to Instagram to share the video of her husband and son with the caption, "Jordan's Hidden Treasure. His Majesty and Crown Prince Al Hussein in the beautiful waters of Aqaba."
The Hashemite kingdom ruled by Jordan’s royal family has always shown a true love for their home country and take a proactive approach to the way they rule. The Jordanian King is part of a tour of his country’s southern region, which he embarked on 3 weeks ago. How awesome is that?
