Imagine Dragons Are Headed To Saudi Arabia

This weekend at Saudi Arabia’s Formula E Prix in Riyadh is going to be LIT as American pop-rock band, Imagine Dragons, are set to perform their first gig in the kingdom, alongside their supporting act, British-Norwegian DJ Alan Walker, on 22nd November.

Not their first trip to the Middle East, as they shot their “Thunder” music video in Dubai back in 2017 – which, by the way, has amassed over 1 billion views on YouTube.

The band consists of drummer Daniel Platzman, bassist Ben McKee, lead guitarist Wayne Sermon and lead singer Dan Reynolds – who form Imagine Dragons and have become a global success through their music.

The group first emerged in 2012 with their award winning album, Night Visions from which hit singles “Demons” and “Radioactive” were released.

Since then, Imagine Dragons, originally from Las Vegas, have shot to stardom and won a Grammy, three American Music Awards, a World Music Award and one MTV Video Music Award – and have been nominated for a number of Billboard Music Awards – 14 of those nominations having been in 2014, for Top Artist of the Year and a Milestone Award. Last year, the band was nominated 11 more times for the Billboard Music Awards.

In 2018, Imagine Dragons were also the most streamed band of the year on Spotify, selling 35 million singles in America alone and 20 million albums worldwide – just to put into perspective why Saudi fans are in for a major treat.

The boy-band have also collaborated with other major artists including Lil Wayne, Elisa, Kygo, Wiz Khalifa, Khalid and Kendrick Lamar and we cannot wait to see them perform in Saudi Arabia this weekend!
