Ellie Goulding Marries Caspar Jopling In Chloé
If you’re a bride-to-be, Ellie Goulding’s big day is sure to provide oodles of inspo as the British singer wore not two, but four (1/2) different wedding outfits. The Brit Award winner looked amazing in each of the clearly different styled gowns and outfits at her recent lavish nuptials to 27-year-old art dealer Caspar Jopling.

For the star-studded ceremony at England’s York Minster Cathedral, attended by the likes of Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Princess Beatrice, Sienna Miller and Sarah Ferguson, the Starry Eyed singer wore a bespoke Chloé gown. Designed by Natacha Ramsay-Levi, the Victorian-inspired dress featuring a ruffled neck and long sleeves took 640 hours to make. The silk double crêpe white dress, doubled with a silk radzimir petticoat, was hand embroidered with White Roses of York and subtly embellished with white glass beads. Additonally, the beautiful airy and delicate silk tulle veil and organza collar came embroidered with the bride and groom’s initials. As a final touch, the singer opted for minimalist studs, a simple make-up look and an elegant updo.
To welcome guests at the reception held in Castle Howard, Goulding, 32, chose a very chic, minimalist design, and while it was a totally different style to the gown she wore for the ceremony, it was every bit as grand. The “special” white silk cady column gown was designed by Stella McCartney, the go-to reception dress designer of choice for A-listers. And it featured a bateau neckline and thigh-high split with a delicate diamond trim. The bride added a show-stopping pair of Bulgari platinum chandelier earrings featuring over 40 diamonds that made for the ultimate party look as Serpentwithfeet performed.
As the festivities continued into the night, Goulding managed to change into two other looks. One of them was a heavily ivory pearl beaded top, which served as a two-in-one. From another British label, Ralph & Russo, Goulding first wore it with a figure-hugging skirt. The newly-wed, who let her famously voluminous blonde hair down into loose waves, accessorised the glamorous look she wore for her first dance and cutting the cake with a matching pearl-embellished headband. “Ralph & Russo have collaborated on my favourite piece from their AW19 collection – it’s a bodice of pearls and silk, which I will be wearing with an evening skirt, before switching into a pair of classic white tailored trousers for the reception,” Goulding told Vogue before the wedding.
Switching things up again, Goulding then went on to rock a fashion forward tight mini dress from Balmain as her nuptials were coming to a close. The bold look featured semi-sheer puffed tulle sleeves and a high neckline with a revealing cut-out. “Balmain have also been so generous with their time. Olivier [Rousteing] has made me the most fun dress to dance the night away in,’ Goulding also told Vogue.
