The Dubai-based make-up mogul, artist and blogger recently confirmed an “all-new, unfiltered season of #HudaBoss premieres 8/20” on Instagram. Just like the first season of the Facebook Watch series about the founder and CEO of Huda Beauty and her family, the new one will be available to stream exclusively on Facebook Watch every Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Dubai.
The preview posted on Facebook showed us a bit of what to look forward to from the second season. The new season sees Kattan, along with sisters Mona and Alya, expanding her beauty empire into America. And in the promo, it’s clear Kattan never stops aiming high. "Making noise in the beauty industry takes somebody who's a badass boss," she says in the trailer. “Huda Beauty is doing so well, we’ve grown like crazy…We’re competing in the big leagues. I want to shake things up, I want people to talk about it,” the 35-year- Iraqi-American entrepreneur also says. “It’s really important that our brand flips the industry upside down.”
The highly anticipated second season, which features Kattan’s daughter, Nour, her husband, Chris, and Dr Daddy Cool making a comeback, also touches on the new Huda Beauty eyeliner launch. "If it doesn't smash every other eyeliner out there, it's not going to happen," she says in the teaser. Additionally, Mona introduces viewers to the man of her dreams, but what we really want to know is how much does the family like her fiancé?
Kattan debuted her first-ever reality series, Huda Boss, last year. The successful first season consisted of 10 episodes, which touched on personal and professional aspects of her life. The region’s favourite make-up maven has succeeded in building a billion-dollar cosmetics brand from the ground up and Huda Boss offers an insight into why Huda Beauty is so successful.
