In the hopes to aid and improve the lives of Palestinian refugees, the UAE made a pledge to donate USD $50 million to UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. This donation will be pushed into the healthcare services, education and better living conditions for the millions of refugees who have lost their homes.

The United Arab Emirates is one of the most significant donors to the UNRWA, more so than ever since US President Trump announced that America would not be donating to the cause at all, last year.
