Luxury Goes Relaxed and Modern for the Michael Kors Collection Autumn 2019 Ad Campaign

The global campaign by Micahel Kors that features herringbone tailoring and disco references will debut this month.

Those scorching temperatures may be here to stay for a while, but it’s already autumn for the fashion industry. Michael Kors Collection is one of the latest labels to unveil a stunning ad campaign highlighting its new chilly weather collection.

The autumn 2019 Micael Kors Collection global ad campaign is photographed by the renowned Dutch fashion shutterbug duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The Dutch connection continues with Rianne Van Rompaey, the 23-year-old beauty with flery red hair, blue eyes and freckles who has been named a top model by Vogue. The neo-classical 1.79 metre-beauty stars as an effortlessly glamorous, laid back fashionista hanging out in her luxurious home.

“We wanted to capture the eclectic glamour of the runway collection,” Michael Kors, the world-renowned, award-winning designer of luxury accessories and ready-to-wear, said. “The Michael Kors Collection campaign offers an inside peek into the lives of today’s luxury jet setters. The rich layers of private life and romance found in the images complement the mood, chic and drama of our fall collection,” Kors, who is also recognised for his MICHAEL Michael Kors and Michael Kors Men’s lines, added.

Dramatic feather embroidery, sharp herringbone tailoring, show-stopping sequins and dance-inspired prints take centre stage against the ornate décor of the classic New York mansion. There’s also a new MKC monogram that embellishes the luxe travel bags to check out. Throughout the ad campaign, the glamour of the autumn 2019 Michael Kors Collection is juxtaposed with Van Rompaey’s nonchalance, demonstrating a hassle-free, contemporary and flippant kind of luxury world.
