Saudi Crown Prince Makes Appearance at Jeddah Season and Snaps a Friendly Selfie

If you’re not spending your summer in Saudi Arabia at Jeddah Season, then are you really having a fabulous summer? Jeddah Season is in full swing with endless entertainment and activities, some major concerts featuring your favourite Arab and western pop stars, and multiple incredible places to eat.

World famous restaurants, including Nobu and Nusret (Salt Bae), have taken residency in pop ups close by Jeddah’s corniche as part of the kingdom’s first ever music festival, and Saudi royalty is getting in on the action. Getting the seal of royal approval, Saudi’s Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman treated his guest, US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, to Nobu’s Japanese delicacies, and of course for such a momentous visit by the Prince, Nobu took to social media to share news of his visit.

MBS didn’t just have a casual dine in with his important guest, but also went viral on Twitter as he took a heartwarming selfie with one young diner, which sparked masses of adulations towards him.

This isn’t the first selfie that the Saudi Crown Prince is present in to have gone viral. In 2017, the prince was spotted touring the historical Al Ula Mountains by tourists, and he kindly snapped selfies and greeted them, and consequently, those selfies went viral too.
