A Lebanese Superstarlet Is Set To Perform in Saudi Arabia for the First Time Ever

Coming to a stage in Saudi Arabia for the first time ever is Lebanese superstar singer, Nancy Ajram. If you’re familiar with Arabic music, you’d know that she is the voice behind some of the Arab world’s favourite hits including Ya Tabtab and Betfakkar fi Eih, and will now be performing them and perhaps more as part of the kingdom’s 40-day celebration of “Sea and Culture”, also a part of Saudi’s first ever music festival, Jeddah Season.

Ajram is known around the world and is no newbie to audiences, as the world has just seen her take North America in a major way during her tour, as well as in Morocco and Abu Dhabi.

Performing as part of Jeddah Season which will run up until the 18th of June, will be Saudi’s very own Mohammed Abdo, internationally renowned Egyptian star, Amr Diab, Emirati singer, Ahlam, and Wael Jassar, but it doesn’t stop at just Arab performers.

Super Junior will also be performing for the first time ever in Saudi Arabia will be a K-Pop band.

Under the Vision 2030 plan, Jeddah Season is part of a huge initiative that hopes to increase tourism and its revenues within Saudi Arabia. Not only will the festival see more partnerships with local enterprises, but will also create up to 20,000 employment volunteering opportunities for Saudi youths.

People looking to purchase tickets for the Jeddah Season will also not have to wait longer than 3 minutes to get an e-tourist visa. The music festival will also have many activities and spectacular shows for attendees to enjoy, including street music performances, international visual arts displays, and light shows.

To dine, guests to the Jeddah Season will be spoilt for choice as Michelin starred restaurants and eateries are offering up traditional cuisines until 2 AM. Art galleries will remain open to welcome revelers too. All of the Jeddah Season events will be taking place across Jeddah’s historical area, the Waterfront, Hamra Corniche and King Abdullah Sports City.
