The Modern Woman Show: Meeting Today’s Arab Woman’s Needs

Modest fashion collections, fashion shows, beauty demos and lots more to be found at the Modern Woman Show, the all-in-one event for women in Dubai

Arabic and international designers are turning the second edition of the Modern Woman Show into a fusion of fashion. From 20-22 April, the Dubai World Trade Centre is home to collections by popular Emirati brands like Latifa Al-Shamsi, House of Meena and Hessa Falasi. Plus, Das Collection is displaying selected abayas, while AW Rostamani Lifestyle is showcasing their Ramadan Collection as part of the show’s special focus on the latest trends in modest fashion. Meanwhile international and regional names like Italian brands Vhernier and Kaizer and Saudi Arabia’s Diademe, plus a host of other exhibitors from countries like Bahrain, India, Indonesia and South Africa, add clout and variety to the luxury lifestyle and fashion exhibition.

As well as women’s wear by niche brands that ranges from kaftans to ready-to-wear, evening wear and everything in between, the exhibition also makes room for handmade jewellery, artisanal chocolates, accessories, pefumes and ouds. Additionally, there are fashion shows, on-site beauty demos on hair, make-up and nail art, product launches and makeovers.
