Inspirational High-Fliers Feature in Tommy Hilfiger’s ‘Make It Possible’ Campaign

The campaign features three American women making a difference in their communities.

Tommy Hilfiger’s spring womenswear campaign focuses on determination, confidence-building and reinvention. So naturally, the top guns at the American premium clothing company have carefully selected three dreamers and achievers with real stories to be the faces of the 'Make It Possible' campaign.

Make Ambition Possible

Swedish-born entrepreneur and It Girl Babba C. Rivera (née Canales) challenges expectations of what it means to be a young woman in business. She is the Founder of the New York City–based brand marketing agency BY BABBA. The award-winning and ultra-fashionable Rivera, who boasts a place on Forbes30 Under 30 list, is also the co-founder of HER USA, an organisation that celebrates and connects women.

Make Empowerment Possible

Activist, humanitarian and fashion model Halima Aden is inspiring young girls to dream big and speak up. As well as being the first to wear a hijab at a Miss USA pageant, the former child refugee has had many other history=making moments in the modelling world. She was the first hijab-wearing model to walk international runways, to sign to a major modelling agency and to feature on the cover of British Vogue. Recently, the 21-year-old with Somali roots also became the first to grace the cover of a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in a hijab and burkini.

Make Reinvention Possible

Urban edenist and landscape designer Lily Kwong has a mission to transform urban environments and connect people to nature.  The Founder of Studio Lily Kwong focuses on creating sustainable design solutions for cities and brands. From project managing LVMH Design District's landscape in Miami, to planting 100,000 trees with eco-fashion company Amour Vert, the northern Californian-raised Kwong, who went by the nickname Scout, is dedicated to making the world a greener and more beautiful place.

The spring collection includes wardrobe essentials like chinos, sweaters and classic white shirts that instantly update any wardrobe. There are some power pieces too, ranging from a trench coat to the Corita Kent capsule. This features 100 percent organic cotton and the American nun and artist’s mighty prints. The polo, a Tommy Hilfiger essential, also appears, yet it’s updated and reimagined with new silhouettes and details. Here’s a sneak peek:
