OSH

Ramadan is not only a time of worship, self-preservation and all things holy – it’s also the busiest time for a Muslim’s social calendar. Iftar plans are usually made in advance with loved ones and often consist of a traditional meal. Why not shake it up a little and try something new?

Dubai is never short of somewhere fabulous to break your fast, so why not try a different cuisine at some of these cool eating spots whilst being entertained, or simply feasting in a unique surrounding? OPA

OPA epitomizes a Greek celebration – in both food and atmosphere. Bringing both the flavours and vibrancy of Greece to Dubai, OPA can guarantee you and your guests a good time with their menu of zesty salads, meats, the famous Zorba dance and tradition of smashing plates. Sah El Nom

Offering up a contemporary Syrian Iftar menu, Sah El Nom should be on your list this Ramadan. Located on Dubai’s newest island development, Bluewaters Island, Sah El Nom’s iftar features a delicious variety of appetizers, mains and desserts, including complimentary dates and beverages such as authentic jallab, blackberry, yoghurt and Kamareddine drinks for you to break your fast with. Not only can you enjoy the rich Damascene menu for Iftar, but the restaurant will also be offering up an a la carte menu for Suhoor.
 

QE2

Offering up 2 different Iftars on board, the QE2 ship, docked in Dubai Creek, will be hosting an experience not to be missed. Majlis Al Malika, located in the Queen’s Room on the ship will be transformed into a stunning Arabesque dining room serving up the very best in Arabian gastronomy, whilst Majlis Al Mulook shakes things up at the Lido with a traditional British spread of a full English roast carvery with all the trimmings including roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding.

Following iftar, attendees can spend the rest of the evening socializing over shisha on the Pavilion terrace. For Ramadan, the QE2 will also offer up leisurely activities including the QE2 Heritage Trail tour and a Balinese massage inside the ships newly restored spa.
