The month-long extravaganza fashionistas wait for with bated breath came to an end once the curtains closed after Paris Fashion Month’s final show. And it wouldn’t be the French capital we know and love without a host of stars, whether from the fashion set or Hollywood, lining the front rows. As usual, the fash-pack left the French capital with many memorable moments, for example Jennifer Lawrence and Cara Delevingne got to talk about Dior’s Teddy Girls who brought back bucket hats and put the cool in slogan feminism, and Laetitia Casta and Salma Hayek were lucky enough to witness Saint Laurent’s neon-soaked finale.
The last couple of days saw a particularly large number of celebrities admiring the debut looks. Yara Shahidi, Jasmine Sanders and Georgia Fowler enjoyed the inclusive Tommy x Zendaya show, with its cast of 59 black models that ranged from popular fresh faces to the 70-year-old Grace Jones, who gave us pure disco joy. Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey, Halima Aden and Karlie Kloss backed Stella McCartney’s eco-friendly collection, which included dresses made from sustainable viscose sourced from certified forests. And, of course, Karl Lagerfeld’s muses couldn’t miss his final Chanel show, where emotions ran high. From the minute of silence, tributes and tears to Penélope Cruz making her catwalk debut, the winter wonderland themed show will long be etched in attendees’ hearts.
