It’s only mid-January and the Middle East has been reigning on international red carpets – namely the 76th Golden Globes this year.

Middle Eastern talents have been slowly creeping into the world of Hollywood and this year’s Golden Globes saw not only dresses designed by Arab couturiers, but also awards and nominations; including, Nadine Labaki being nominated for the first time for “best motion picture”, Capernaum in the foreign language category and American-Egyptian actor Rami Malek taking home the win for Best Performance by an Actor for Bohemian Rhapsody.
