Your Next Holiday Destination: An Adorable TreeHouse Nestled in a Forest

Behold your own forest getaway nestled between four majestic beech trees and surrounded by incredible sprawling nature. No building in sight, no car horn, nothing but peace and serenity.

You have Helen and Kieran Fisher to thank for this quirky holiday inn. A mere two years after settling on the 12-acre site near the village of Lee near Ilfracombe, their exquisite escape was completed and bookings are flooding in as far ahead as October 2019.

The idea was birthed on a piece of paper by the couple and was formed into completion by an architecture student.

The 800 square foot property has a dining/living area, a bedroom, bathroom and outdoor decking area. Also because those woods can get chilly, the whole place is gas centrally heated.

The living area is meticulously designed to fit the “woodland” theme. There’s a wood burner, a TV and DVD selection so you can cuddle up on the couch with a good feature. The kitchenette up-cycled from an old oak sideboard.

The bedroom is also picture perfect boasting of a king-size bed and a roll-top bath, which guests can enjoy the valley views from while they soak. Dreamy, right?

The bathroom has a quirky sink created from a copper kettle and a brass jam-making pan, and a walk-in waterfall shower.

On the outside deck/balcony there is a cast-iron wood-fired pizza oven, a gas barbecue and outdoor leather lounge chairs with another an eating area. Just imagine having breakfast on this gorgeous terrace.

So, now you know where you’re spending your next romantic getaway - that is if you can wait till next year.
