A Spotlight on Saudi Designers at Tasmeem Fair

After last year’s edition was a major success, Tasmeem, a non-profit initiative by the Saudi Arts Council, reopens in Jeddah for the second time. Tasmeem is a way for interior designers and architects to present their work collectively.

The event is supported by Princess Jawaher bin Majed bin Abdul Aziz, and Tasmeem’s selection of the best and most innovative designers this year has tied in perfectly with the enigmatic concept curated by Lama bin Mansour.

Last year, the exhibition was regarded a huge success as it highlighted architects and interior designers and their work in an innovative way, allowing them to create their own conceptual displays, which, as a result, was a plethora of unique and unexpected creations. Visitors to the event can expect to see a variety of installations as well as experience some of them too, making it an immersive event.

This year’s concept is one that may resonate with event’s visitors and will be host to a number of several keynote speakers who will be discussing a number of relative topics including calligraphy and architecture, architectural photography and more. Workshops and lectures will accompany the exhibition for the duration of the fair.

Tasmeem Fair is open to all on until October 22nd in SAC’s Gold Moor headquarters in the Shatea district.
