Alula Moments Previews Unique Five Senses Sanctuary Program Ahead Of 2023 Wellness Festival

AlUla Moments’ flagship festival returns this Saturday with Five Senses Sanctuary a standout attraction

With the highly anticipated 2023 AlUla Wellness Festival just days away, AlUla Moments has made a fresh announcement about a world-class activation taking place throughout the two-week flagship festival, which returns for its third edition beginning this Thursday, October 19. Wellness seekers and health-conscious enthusiasts traveling to AlUla have been given a major cause for excitement with full details on the Five Senses Sanctuary, which presents a ‘perfect opportunity to rejuvenate’ by uplifting mind, body, and soul.

Visitors can look forward to a unique program of immersive sensory-based activities under the Five Senses Sanctuary Experience, with yoga, meditation, sound healing, fitness, and mindfulness sessions sure to provoke the senses, activate conversations, inspire change, and leave participants feeling rested, relaxed, and refreshed both physically and psychologically.

Set in a stunning and tranquil landscape and led by global experts in their field, these classes and workshops represent the perfect combination for those seeking a fully transformative experience. Visitors can also take advantage of a hair spa, face massages, ice bath workshop, life coaching, counselling, and inspirational talks from world-leading specialists – all options that form the Five Senses Sanctuary’s diverse schedule of activities to help people achieve their physical and mental wellness aspirations.

The renowned experts leading talks and mindfulness workshops include Hala Kazim, life coach and founder of ‘Journey Through Change’, a company dedicated to helping women improve their lives; Anas Bukhash, the interviewer, entrepreneur, and public speaker who inspires people to create a life fueled by their passion; and yoga-meditation expert and therapist Ashley Turner who regularly speaks at events around the world. These experts are also joined by yoga specialist Nitai Krishna, Korean hair care expert Aolado, personal trainer and fitness instructor Ezran Consul, motivational speaker and ‘SheFit’ founder Haya Sawan, Zen Buddhist monk Yogestu Akasaka, and multi-instrumental duo Miguel Hiroshy & Leonardo Prakash.

The Five Senses Sanctuary is running throughout the AlUla Wellness Festival, from the first day this weekend until Sunday, November 5. Day passes start from SAR 200, with a fully transformative 7-day experience available for SAR 950. With a day pass, visitors will have 12.5 hours of multi-entry access to a full lineup of wellness classes, workshops, and talks on a first-come-first-serve basis from 7 am to 7:30 pm. To make the most of the Five Senses Sanctuary, a 7-day pass is recommended.

The Five Senses Sanctuary is also hosting a range of special wellness-boosting activities and experiences outside of their venue space, from immersive Rööh sessions, full moon sound baths at the world-famous archaeological site of Hegra, and soothing breathwork classes at Dadan, the ancient Kingdom of the Lihyanite.

In addition to providing musical support for the AlUla Wellness Festival and recognizing that music and sound healing are integral aspects of the 5 Sense Sanctuary, AlUla Moments curated an exclusive AlUla Wellness Festival Playlist on Spotify.

Renowned for fostering the well-being of the mind, body, and soul, the 2023 AlUla Wellness Festival is back to take visitors on a unique wellness journey. Honoring AlUla’s legacy as a place of rest and revitalization, the AlUla Wellness Festival presents a wide range of holistic workshops and activities deeply influenced by AlUla's abundant historical and natural heritage.
