H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

Sheikha Al Mayassa celebrates Qatar’s local community and cultural diversity through a number of her own initiatives. She is the chairperson of establishments including Qatar Museums, Doha Film Institute, Reach Out to Asia, and Qatar Leadership Centre. Sheikha Al Mayassa is also co-chair of Fashion Trust Arabia.

Dana Al Fardan

Dana Al Fardan is Qatar’s first female Qatari contemporary composer, singer, and songwriter. Fardan has also been appointed the official composer for Qatar Airways for which she produces music. She is revered in Qatar and the country takes pride in Al Fardan as she is one of the first female artists to emerge from the country. She also promotes Qatari culture and is an ambassador for the Qatari Philharmonic Orchestra.

Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Al Thani

Noted as being one of the most successful Qatari women in the world, Sheikha Hanadi is Founder & CEO of the Al Waab City Real Estate development project, Vice Chairman of Nasser Bin Khaled Al-Thani & Sons Group and Founding Chairperson Q-Auto, the founding Chairperson of INJAZ Qatar. A successful businesswoman and philanthropist, she is a prominent figure in Qatar’s business sector. She was also featured in the Forbes 50 Most Powerful Businesswomen list earlier this year.

H.E. Dr. Hessa Al Jaber

H.E. Dr. Hessa Al Jaber accomplished many things in her life and career even before being appointed as the first Minister of Communication and Information Technology in Qatar. Her credentials in the field of telecommunications and ICT have continued to show the capabilities of women to excel not only in female dominated fields but also in those dominated by men. Al Jaber has also contributed to empowering people with disabilities in Qatar as she created the Qatar Assistive Technology Center (MADA).

Fatma Al Remaihi

Appointed CEO of the Doha Film Institute (DFI) in 2014, Fatma Al Remaihi manages the strategic direction of DFI whilst striving to promote the film industry in Qatar. Fatma encourages the next generation of creative professionals in Qatar through her role as Director of the Institute’s annual film events, Qumra and the Ajyal Film Festival. She also empowers female filmmakers by encouraging women to pursue their career goals in the local film industry.

Sheikha Alanoud bint Hamad Al Thani

Sheikha Alanoud ranked 47th in the Forbes 2022 50 Most Powerful Businesswomen list and previously served as the Qatar Country Representative and Director for Silatech, which is a Qatar-based social initiative that connects young people to employment opportunities across the Arab region. She has also received a number of honors and awards, including being named as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum.
