In a strategic relationship with the Saudi Tourism Authority, the Government Communication Center at the Ministry of Media unveiled the third Media Excellence Award for this year's National Day.
Beginning on September 20, the center will begin accepting submissions for its nine media categories, which include press coverage, television production, radio, podcasts, creative photography, video for the private and nonprofit sectors, individual submissions in the digital media category, and national songs.
Arab News reported that the center added a new category for tourism films in the third iteration of the competition with the intention of showcasing the geographic and cultural variety of the Kingdom.
In strategic collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority, the category presents two awards to organizations and individuals.
