Having released her latest track, ‘Sah Sah’ in collaboration with American producer and DJ, Marshmello, it has become the first Arab song to debut on the American Billboard Dance Charts. The catchy dance number came in at number 38 on the charts.
In a report by music analytics tool, Soundcharts, Ajram’s latest release is in the Top 10 on the US iTunes electronic charts. The song peaked at number 9, but also topped the iTunes electro-dance category in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Nancy Ajram took to social media to share her delight about the success of ‘Sah Sah,’ and thanked her fans for sharing their feelings about the song.
It was at the beginning of July 2022, when both Nancy Ajram and Marshmellow shared hints about their collaboration on social media. Ajram had shared an image on Instagram of herself with the American DJ and producer in a recording studio. Marshamello is anonymous as his stage persona wears a white helmet that resembles a marshmallow.
Marshmello also shared a short clip on Instagram of him playing the traditional stringed qanun instrument.
