Indochine Dubai, the first and only international outpost of the legendary New York City restaurant, has been named among the region’s best eateries this year. The renowned French-Vietnamese hotspot got a nod during the inaugural edition of Middle East and North Africa’s (MENA) 50 Best Restaurants. Indochine Dubai got a number 35 ranking, which was celebrated during an awards show at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. The awards, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, recognise the hard work from the region’s F&B sector and aim to inspire hospitality venues in it.

The First MENA Awards
The United Arab Emirates is the most successful country on the first regional 50 Best Restaurants list, with an impressive 19 restaurants ranked. This includes winner of The Best Restaurant in MENA title, 3 Fils in Dubai. Lebanon and Saudi Arabia nabbed five wins each. Beirut’s Baron, named The Best Restaurant in Lebanon, came in at number 12, while Riyadh’s Myazu, ranked 15th, was the winner of The Best Restaurant in Saudi Arabia. Egypt also did well, with four restaurants featured in the ranking, including Sachi. Landing at number five, it was deemed The Best Restaurant in Egypt. Amman’s Fakhreldin was also placed in the top 10 and was named The Best Restaurant in Jordan.
