What brings all UAE residents together? Food, obviously, so here are some of the best National Day dining exclusives.

COYA's special UAE National Day dessert

It's no secret that everyone in the emirates loves to eat well. So what better occasion to celebrate our foodie pastime than the 46th UAE National Day celebrations? Whether you want to reconnect with the local dishes you love, try a UAE-inspired dish with a twist or tuck into a decadent dessert with flavours from the region, you’ve just clicked on the right link. As well as paying tribute to this patriotic day, these venues are constantly contributing to Dubai’s diverse, vibrant and thriving food scene.

7ELEPHANTS DUBAI’S NATIONAL DAY PLATTER MENU
A taste of authentic Arabic cuisine with an exotic touch is probably the most patriotic way to celebrate National Day. While 7Elephants Dubai is known for embracing flavours from all around the world, for this special day they are offering a specially curated menu that’s all about homegrown inspiration.

The National Day Platter Menu, available until 7 December, includes the UAE’s signature Lamb Kebab skewers, marinated in saffron and turmeric and Beetroot Hummus, which is mixed with tahini, yogurt, olive oil and topped off with walnuts. Headed by the talented Chef Mahmoud Turkmani, the beautiful venue at DIFC has also created a National Salad with kale, quinoa, cherry tomatoes and dates.

MANDI AT BURGER & LOBSTER
Stirred by National Day, Burger & Lobster has created a series of exclusive dishes infusing western tastes with flavours inspired by the region and its rich cuisine and traditions. The international brand, which has a home in Dubai’s Burj Daman building, is regionalising its menu and nodding to local culture until 10 December.

We can’t cant’ think of a better way than celebrating UAE National Day than with a renowned local favourite, Mandi. Of course, Burger and Lobster has added its own creative spin on it with tender, juicy Canadian lobster served with some Arabian spiced rice and yogurt dressing.

BAKLAVA WITH CAMEL MILK ICE CREAM AT RÜYA

Rüya, the venue situated at the Grosvenor House Dubai Marina that specialises in Anatolian food, has come up with a specially crafted dessert for us to indulge in on 2 December. They have created a very unique version of the traditional Baklava dessert by topping it with ice cream made out of camel milk, which has been an essential ingredient for centuries in the emirates.

To fully enjoy the creation exclusively available on National Day, Dubai’s award-winning restaurant, lounge and bar is serving it with a light and refreshing Turkish tea.

COYA’S SPECIAL DESSERT
Whether you’re in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, head over to COYA to relish their extraordinary National Day dessert, the passion chocolate marquise, dark muscovado centred, maracuja snow. The restaurant known for its contemporary Peruvian cuisine has fashioned a delicious mix of Valrhona passion chocolate, passion fruit, dark muscovado sugar and whole eggs. And surely enough, it pays homage to the colours of the UAE flag.
