Revolutionary Culinary Concept StreetXO by Dabiz Muñoz Arrives at One&Only One Za’abeel

The World’s Best Chef Lays out the Journey Through the Vibrant Streets of Global Cuisine in Dubai

StreetXO, the highly anticipated culinary venture from acclaimed four MICHELIN-starred Chef Dabiz Muñoz, has officially opened its doors on the 4th floor of the iconic One&Only One Za’abeel. The innovative dining destination promises a ground-breaking experience, blending audacious creativity with unbridled energy in every dish and design detail.

Chef Dabiz Muñoz, named the Best Chef in the World for three consecutive years, brings his irreverent style and trailblazing culinary finesse to the heart of Dubai. At StreetXO, guests embark on a hedonistic adventure through Chef Dabiz’s world of unrestrained culinary innovation, inspired by the vibrant street culture of the world’s most energetic cities.

The menu at StreetXO is a testament to Chef Dabiz's boundary-pushing approach, featuring signature dishes such as the Pekinese Dumplings, made with crispy duck skin, Pedroche's Croquettes; a Kimchi croquette with tuna sashimi, XO sauce, and kisami nori, XO Ramen made with 48 hours of chicken stock and desserts like Churros Con Chocolate and Fresas Con Nata Kakigori. Each dish is a fusion of global flavours and techniques designed to challenge and delight the palate. StreetXO’s signature beverages complement the bold cuisine, including the unique Ceviche Sour, which features liquid ceviche, tequila, mezcal, fino sherry, and infused vermouth, the DiverXO Madrizzzz, blending gin, violet & coconut shrub, and the distinctive tequila-based spicy cocktail Tom Kha Kai. Each cocktail is created to tantalise the senses and enhance the dining experience.

"At StreetXO Dubai, we redefine dining with audacious creativity and unrestrained energy. Each dish is a global fusion; each space, is a theatre of surprises. Dubai is a very open-minded city for food, which makes it the perfect time for us to be here, bringing our unique style of dining to a new audience. ” said Chef Dabiz Muñoz.

A meal created by Dabiz Muñoz is a thrilling, high-octane, theatrical experience full of surprises, and the interiors at StreetXO reflect that. Guests arrive at the restaurant through a tunnel, setting the scene for the visually arresting experience that awaits them. Right at the end of the tunnel, a pendant light from Filipino designer Kenneth Cobonpue, representing an acrobat carrying ceiling lights, becomes the dramatic first view. The bar, covered in lava lamps and labyrinthine metal pipes holding glasses and bottles, along with other quirky touchpoints throughout, adds an element that’s fun and dramatic.  This circus-like “organised chaos” continues into the main dining space with suspended tables, Jean-Paul Gaultier upholstery, and other street figures. The spacious terrace at StreetXO stuns with more acrobatic sculptures, and graffitied pillars, along with a “top hat man” who disappears into the water under the main drop-off of the canopy.
