Versatility Unveiled in Noon by Noor's Resort 2024 Collection

Noon by Noor has unveiled its Resort 2024 collection, drawing inspiration from the art of layering to seamlessly guide wearers from paradise beaches to bustling streets and fancy dinners. Conceived by Bahraini designers Shaikha Noor Al-Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al-Khalifa, the collection embraces a rich palette, featuring hues like green, purple, navy, coral, lavender, salmon, red, and yellow.

The Resort line starts with an asymmetrical, elegantly draped tunic that's perfect for a lazy beach day. With a flowing cover-up, this foundational piece easily transforms from a carefree daytime outing to a sophisticated evening affair when paired with slim pants.

The designers sought to create a versatile wardrobe that enables women to effortlessly tailor their appearance to suit any occasion. The collection, which emphasizes comfort in its design, includes items with bias cuts, gathers, and drapes that create soft, folded dimensions that gracefully envelop the body and exude a carefree yet sophisticated look. The tailoring, according to designer Shaikha Haya, is precise and goes well with slender, straight-cut trousers made of silk or jacquard fabrics. The collection also includes metallic foil parkas and recycled nylons, as well as reversible, quilted jackets that echo utilitarian themes.

In an effort to enhance sustainability, Noon by Noor has incorporated a recycling program for the collection, utilizing recycled polyester chiffon, crepe, and nylon in addition to traditional fabric choices like silks, cottons, and linens.

The cousins expressed their emphasis on providing choices as the ultimate luxury. Previously, their fall-winter 2023 collection featured extended shadows cast under the Bahraini sunshine. The new Resort collection takes this a step further with long, sleek, and stylish silhouettes, where skirts and coats gracefully fall to the floor. The designers, reflecting on their fall-winter 2023 collection, mentioned their collaboration with the works of French illustrator Francois Berthoud. The result is a set of images that combines fashion, art, and communication in shades of grey, brown, and black.
