Celebrity Footwear Designer Amina Muaddi Unveils Pop-Up Store In Lake Como

Renowned footwear designer Amina Muaddi, whose creations are adored by celebrities, has made a stylish entrance on the scenic shores of Lake Como with the unveiling of her first pop-up store, in collaboration with Tessabit. This unique partnership brings the historical boutique, situated within Como's Villa D'Este, together with Muaddi for a pop-up event that will last seven weeks.

Tessabit expressed their excitement about the occasion on Instagram, stating, “With the celebrations for 70 years of activity and summer just around the corner, we are pleased to welcome the High Summer 23 collection by @aminamuaddi, inside @villadestelakecomo, along with an exclusive piece available only for Tessabit.”

A special dinner was planned to mark the opening of the pop-up shop, graced by the presence of notable guests including part-Arab model Mallika El-Maslouhi, Italian actress Sabrina Impacciatore, musician Joan Thiele, German blogger Caroline Daur, and many more.

El-Maslouhi used Instagram to demonstrate her support for Muaddi's pop-up shop. She posted images from Lake Como with Daur and the model Maty Diba and titled the post "Amina's Angels."

Muaddi's achievements in the fashion industry are certainly noteworthy. In August 2018, she launched her own namesake footwear collection, just a year after quitting her position as co-founder and creative director of high-end footwear company Oscar Tiye.

Additionally, Muaddi played a significant role in designing shoes for Rihanna's Fenty collection, which proved to be highly successful. The collaboration received the Collaborator of the Year award at the 34th edition of the FN Achievement Awards in 2020. Furthermore, Muaddi's achievements earned her a spot on Women's Wear Daily and Footwear News' 50 Most Powerful Women list in the following year.

Joining the ranks of A-list celebrities sporting her heels, Beyoncé was recently seen wearing Muaddi's Begum PVC glass pumps during her Renaissance World Tour in London. Muaddi's career continues to flourish, making her birthday celebration a testament to her talent, success, and the close relationships she has cultivated within the entertainment and fashion industries.
