Dar Al-Hanouf, a luxury bridal couture studio launched in 2012 by Saudi fashion designer Al-Hanouf Mazen Al-Qabasani, is presently one of the most popular places to shop for bridal clothing in the Kingdom.
Al-Hanouf discovered a passion of elegance and opulence from an early age. She developed her first collection at the age of 19 as a result of her love of fabrics and design. In 2012, she had great success with the sales of her first line of bridal gowns. The next year, she opened her own shop in Jeddah and focused on creating lavish bridal dresses.
Despite her youth, Al-Hanouf rose to prominence as one of the most well-known designers in the Kingdom. She specialized in bridal couture and demi-couture and is recognized for her meticulous attention to detail. She also serves as a creative director and bridal consultant.
Dar Al-Hanouf is renowned for its superb embroidered skill and creativity. Al-Hanouf purchases the best French lace and haute couture fabrics from the most prestigious manufacturers from across the world to produce her timeless designs.
In February 2017, Dar Al-Hanouf became the sole Swarovski-branded partner in Saudi Arabia after receiving the official Swarovski accreditation certificate. The same year, Dar Al-Hanouf, a close collaborator of the brand, participated in the Swarovski Middle East Sparkling Couture Infinity event and displayed its most recent items created for the exhibition. More than 50,000 Swarovski crystals were used to adorn one special item.
Dar Al-Hanouf was chosen by the Saudi Fashion Commission to participate in a number of programs to advance the fashion sector in the region, such as the Saudi 100 Brands initiative, for which the design house displayed its creations in New York and Riyadh. As part of the commission's 100 Brands initiative, the house launched its first occasion-wear demi-couture collection in Milan, Italy, in 2022.
