ALDO’s Ramadan campaign this year draws on the nostalgic feeling of greeting guests at the doorstep, gathering them around a table adorned with lanterns and celebrating moments of prayer and reflection. To celebrate the season of peace and gratitude, the international leader in fashion footwear and accessories once again tapped Saudi’s first female model, Model Roz. Two other models, Madison Desilva and Ethan Turner, star alongside the California-based celebrity model and social media star, who has an impressive 13.2M plus followers on her Instagram page.
"It's such an honour to partake in ALDO's 2022 Ramadan campaign for the second year in a row,” Model Roz said. "For my loved ones and I, Ramadan is such an important time of the year because it's a time when we all get to come together to celebrate gratitude, strength and self-awareness, which are all values that are so in-line with ALDO as a brand.”
Renowned Iranian-born but German-raised photographer Max Abadian is behind the colourful and uplifting images. The fashion and celebrity image maker has the faces of the campaign posing amongst beautiful natural surroundings and typically gorgeous Ramadan décor, including, of course, lanterns. Styled by Sophie Lopez, the bright and breezy modest outfits add even more pops of colour to the shots as the models showcase the collection.
The 2022 offerings amplify the rich hues and adornments of Ramadan, with soft pastels, iridescent violets, gold hues and reimagined earth tones for men’s styles. They all all help to encapsulate the essence of luxury and joy that surround this celebration. Designed with comfort features such as ALDO’s Pillow Walk and Flex technologies, the collection offers a variety of silhouettes from more casual wedge styles to jewel-encrusted dress styles that feature architectural heels. For men, brassy hardware and croc-inspired leather materials are also a staple throughout the collection and can be found on slip-ons and classic loafers.
Live across all brand touch-points along the consumer journey, the campaign can be seen in-store, online and on ALDO’s social media platforms.
