10 Best Jewellery Looks from Cannes Film Festival 2018

As usual, there have been some seriously bright fireworks from the red carpet in Cannes.

After its first edition in 1946, The Cannes Film Festival started becoming synonymous with glitz, celebrity sightings, shocking moments and the world’s most bedazzling jewellery. While Awards Season also offers us a fair share of mindboggling precious stones, the great thing about Cannes is that we’re treated to a mesmerising variety of white or multi-coloured sparklers for 12 blissful days in a row.

German influencer Xenia Overdose looked beautiful in Messika’s High Jewelry “Sirenetta” necklace. She also wore “Sea King” earrings from the Parisian jewellers’ new “Once Upon a Time” high jewellery collection.

Aja Noami King, who stars in "How to Get Away with Murder,” looked stunning in Messika “Shards of Mirror” earrings. The American TV show star also shone in the contemporary jewellery maison’s “North Wind” ring from the new “Once Upon A Time” high jewellery collection.

Italian model Tina Kunakey illuminated the red carpet in a pair of Messika high jewellery “Madeleine” earrings. Kunakey, who was accompanied by boyfriend Vincent Cassel, complemented them with Messika’s “Théa” stud earrings.

Romanian model and actress Catrinel Marlon sparkled in a white gold necklace featuring an octagonal step-cut emerald and diamonds from Chopard’s “Red Carpet” collection. She also wore a ring in white gold set with a rectangular-cut emerald and diamonds, which is from the same collection created by the Swiss maison.

Stella Maxwell adorned her look with a Chopard necklace in white gold and rose gold, set with coloured diamonds. The British model also stunned in a diamond stud earrings set in white gold, all from Chopard’s “Haute Joaillerie” collection.

 Czech model Petra Nemcova shined in a Chopard “Red Carpet” collection necklace set in white gold, featuring emeralds and diamonds. She also wore earrings with a pair of octagonal step cut emeralds and diamonds. She added a ring with a heart-shaped diamond and pave diamonds from the Cannes Film Festival’s official partner’s “Haute Joaillerie” collection.

Helen Mirren went for a matching Art Deco style earrings and necklace set with a lozenge motif from Avakian’s “High Jewellery” collection. The yellow gold, yellow sapphires, pear-cut and shield-cut blue tourmalines and pavéd diamonds looked splendid on the British actress.

Bella Hadid, who was spotted kissing her ex-boyfriend, The Weekend, ruled the Cannes red carpet once again in a shimmering diamond choker, double-band bracelets and ring from Bvlgari’s “High Jewellery” collection. The jewellery perfectly complemented the half Palestinian model’s dusky pink princess-like strapless gown.

Aishwarya Rai’s vibrant earrings and ring are from de Grisogono’s “Melody of Colours” collection. The Indian actress was a vision in pink gold set with amethysts, pink sapphires and white diamonds. She also paired them with the house’s “Doppia” ring, which comes in white diamonds and amethysts.

Cheryl Cole was simply dazzling in De Beers jewellery. The English singer and L’Oréal ambassador, who wore a sheer white sleeveless dress with high neckline and fun ruffle details, graced the red carpet in over 40 carats of diamonds.
